Our One Year Anniversary of Our Online Menu!

"Anniversaries are like birthdays: occasions to celebrate and to think ahead, usually among friends with whom one shares not only the past but also the future."
Zbigniew Brzezinski
American Politician, Former National Security Advisor to Jimmy Carter
As our very busy summer winds down, we here at Big Spoon have had the chance to reflect upon the last year of business. Roughly one year ago, we began our online menu, and to our delight, were embraced by many members of the North Country as a reliable (and delicious) source of fresh, local prepared foods. Since then, we've taken on a number of catering events (ranging from small dinner parties to full blown weddings), helped run fundraisers for a number of local organizations, received a grant to begin the processing of local vegetables for 18 North Country school districts, and completely redid our website to be more user friendly, all while keeping our focus on what we do best, food. While we have worked hard taking on all these different projects and aspects of our business, we wouldn't be where we are today without the support of all our customers. To those who have been with us from the beginning and to those who have just found out about us, we would like to extend a sincere thank you for your past and continuing support as we head into our sophomore year in business. Without you, we wouldn't be able to realize our goal of connecting people with the amazing local food systems we have right here in the North Country. We promise to continue to do our best to not only provide delicious locally sourced meals, but to emphasize the importance of and improve our methods of reinvesting in our community as we more forward.
